METALSMITH WORKSHOPS
MONTHLY STACKING RING WORKSHOPS
You will be guided through the mindful process of creating your own brass ring band (or round pendant), including sizing, cutting, sanding, soldering, and polishing. There will be a range of options to texture the ring in whatever way you choose.
Workshops are held at the Hollow Tree, Hout Bay, Cape Town.
What you get:
• You'll leave with two finished 2mm texured brass bands that you have designed and handmade yourself (there is also an option to make a ring and round pendant).
• A clear understanding of the basic tools you need to set up your own beginner workbench at home, as well as how to use them.

PRIVATE WORKSHOPS
One-on-one, or bring a friend or two
Want more time and more attention than the group workshop allows? Book a private session for yourself, or bring one or two others along.
You'll work directly with me, at your own pace, learning the same hand fabrication process, but with room to slow down, ask questions, and really get your hands into it.
- Brass — hard, affordable, regal and earthy, a great place to start
- Sterling silver — higher price, iconic and ethereal
Available for 1, 2 or 3 people.
What you get:
- Full one-on-one instruction
- Choice of making two rings in brass or sterling silver (the technique is the same)
- All tools and materials
- Your finished, handmade rings to take home
Private sessions work well for a date, a hen do, a birthday, or just wanting more focused time to learn.
